Dr. Alex Hoyos, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Alex Hoyos, D.D.S., M.S. received his dental degree from Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud – CES in 1995. After two years in private practice, he returned to advanced training and in 2000 earned his Certificate in Periodontal Prosthodontics — a discipline recognized for managing the most complex multidisciplinary cases in dentistry.

His early research focused on craniofacial growth in children following extraction of the first permanent molars. During his specialty training, he collaborated with engineers to design a system for recording and analyzing jaw movement, earning the award for Best Research Project at his dental school in 2000. Following graduation, he joined the graduate faculty, teaching dental materials and esthetics.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Hoyos completed a two-year advanced training program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry to obtain his United States D.D.S. degree and Florida dental license. He then completed a three-year Prosthodontics residency and earned a Master of Science degree from the same institution. His advanced training included comprehensive diagnosis, occlusion, temporomandibular disorders, implant surgery and implant prosthetics, dental materials, laboratory procedures, esthetics, and full-mouth rehabilitation. His master’s thesis evaluated the accuracy of impression materials using different techniques. . In recognition of his clinical excellence and leadership, he received the prestigious Lucius Battle Award as the top resident in his program.

Lately he has seek hands on one on one training with number top clinicians in the world in different sub areas of his specialty. Dr. Hoyos is currently pursuing certification in Biomimetic Dentistry under the mentorship of world-renowned expert Pascal Magne in Beverly Hills. Dr. Hoyos is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, American Equilibration Society, and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His practice is limited exclusively to Prosthodontics, with focus on dental implants, esthetics, and full-mouth rehabilitation

Paula

At the heart of our practice is Paula Hoyos—Dr. Hoyos’s wife and our office manager—whose leadership and dedication are truly the cornerstone of our operations. From coordinating care to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, Paula ensures that every aspect of our office functions seamlessly.

Aleyda

I was born in Colombia. I have been happily working with Dr. Hoyos for the past 10 years as a front desk assistant, and I truly enjoy welcoming patients and being part of such a caring dental team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family—my husband, my son, our dog, and our fish. Summer is my favorite time of the year. I love outdoor activities, skating, going to the beach, watching sunsets, and spending time outside with my son and dog.

Barbara

l am a proud mother of two wonderful sons. I am an adventurous person who loves traveling and exploring new places and experiences. I also love my 4 dogs, and they bring so much joy and energy into my life. In my free time, I enjoy reading and learning more about dentistry because I am passionate about my work and always want to grow in my field. I am a caring, curious, and hardworking person who values family, knowledge, and new adventures.

Nicole

I was born in Boynton Beach, Florida, and raised in Puerto Rico. I earned an Associate Degree in Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions from National University College in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. I currently work as a dental technician at Dr. Hoyos’ dental office, where I have developed my dental laboratory skills under the guidance of Dr. Hoyos. I am passionate about my profession and committed to providing quality support within the dental field.

Outside of work, I recently started playing the violin as a hobby, reflecting my growing appreciation for music and creativity.

Naydelin

I assist in the dental laboratory with the fabrication of dental restorations and the creation of digital designs. I developed my skills through hands-on experience and on-the-job training. I enjoy combining technical precision with digital technology and have a strong interest in learning new tools related to computers and digital design, which I apply to my work in modern dentistry.
